Building financial literacy for the next generation

A Wealth And Knowledge Education Network is a financial education platform built for Australian school students. We create structured, curriculum-aligned lessons that give young people the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions.

The problem

Most Australians leave school without a basic understanding of how money works. They enter adulthood without knowing how to budget, how interest compounds, how tax works, or how to evaluate a loan. The consequences are real: unnecessary debt, missed opportunities, and financial stress that compounds over a lifetime.

Financial literacy is part of the Australian Curriculum, but many schools lack the time, resources, or specialist knowledge to teach it well. Teachers are expected to cover complex financial topics alongside everything else, often without dedicated materials or training.

Our approach

We build complete, ready-to-use modules that teachers can bring into the classroom with minimal preparation. Each topic starts with short foundational lessons: clear explanations of core concepts in plain language, before moving into deeper content that builds on those foundations.

Every lesson includes a video, detailed notes, and a quiz with instant feedback. Students progress through topics at a structured pace, building knowledge step by step. The content is Australian, the examples are real, and the language is clear and simple.

What guides us

Practical

Every lesson is grounded in real Australian examples. Students learn about the ASX, Australian tax, superannuation, and the financial decisions they will actually face, not abstract theory.

Accessible

Clear language, short videos, and a progressive structure that starts with the basics. No prior financial knowledge is assumed. Every student can follow along from lesson one.

Curriculum aligned

All content maps to the Australian Curriculum for Economics and Business (Years 7–10). Teachers can integrate modules directly into their planning with confidence.

What students learn

Our program covers nine core topics: Investing, Money and Finance, Budgeting, Tax, Loans, Property, Credit Cards, Insurance, and Superannuation. Each topic is a self-contained module with progressive lessons that move from foundational concepts to applied knowledge.

By the end of the program, students understand how to earn, save, budget, invest, borrow responsibly, and navigate the financial systems they will encounter as adults. They leave school with a practical toolkit: not just theory, but the confidence to act on it.

For teachers and schools

Every module is designed so teachers can use it straight away. Lessons include video content, written notes for revision, and quizzes that assess understanding automatically. There is no need to build worksheets, source videos, or write assessments from scratch.

The content aligns with the Australian Curriculum for Economics and Business across Years 7 to 10. Whether you are running a dedicated financial literacy unit or integrating modules across terms, the structure is flexible enough to fit your timetable.
